The artist

I have been painting and drawing since leaving college. Work or life interrupts from time to time, but I always pick up the brushes again. My work has gone through a number of episodes of style. The work on this site shows a sample of my work over the last few years.

Most of my works are still life paintings. The paintings represent my attempts to engage with the still life tradition exemplified by Zurbaran, Chardin, Morandi among others.
